Happy Birthday Sonia who is 4 today

My daughter was born 4 years ago tomorrow. She was sooo little, a preemie at 4.3lbs but she has thrived into a beautiful little girl. Please stroll down memory lane with me.

Here she is smiling at the camera

Here is her first Christmas Picture in a stocking LOL!

Her first birthday!

Here she is almost 4 years old with her new baby brother!

Thanks for taking the stroll down memory lane with me. Happy Birthday my little love bug!!!

We are home! Nicholas and I are finally home. He is doing well and I am extremely excited that I get to sleep in my bed tonight!!!

Tuesday, December 9, 2008

We are on the regular floor and let me tell you, it is NOT like the ICU. Everyone was within reach. Here I have to ring the bell and wait like 10 friken minutes for someone to answer it. But that is OK. I just worry that when the alarms on the monitors go off and no one comes in for a few mintues. In the ICU they came in right away; Oh well I will get used to it I guess.
We will probably be here for a few more days. He needs to start eating good and get the tube out. He is off of the oxygen and doing well.

Monday, December 8, 2008

Nicholas is doing much better. He is feeding OK still having trouble manipulating the bottle again but he will get the hang of it I hope!!! He has all IV's out and is still on oxygen to help him breathe easier.
We will be going to a regular floor today probably.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!!!

Saturday, December 6, 2008

Yeah Nicholas is breathing all on his own now. His tube is out and is doing well. He needs some regular oxygen to keep up his sp02 levels but doing well.

Sonia came in today to see him and she is handling it pretty well. I took a picture of him and all his equipment and showed it to her yesterday to prepare her. I explained everything that was in the pictures. She kissed the camera. So adorable!!!

Happy Day

I am sooo happy today because Nicholas should be getting the breathing tube out of his mouth today! He passed the breathing "test" last night with flying colors. They just need to give him some medication to losen his throat. It is very tight so if they do not give him this medication his throat would close up as soon as they take out the tube so they will also give him a nebulizer treatment of Epinpherin to help keep it open.
I will also be leaving her again today just to get more things done for Sonia's Birthday party tomorrow. My nephew's bday is Dec 12 and Sonia's is Dec 16 and they are in the same preschool class so we are having all of their friends at a gymnastic's studio for their birthday. It will be fun because they do 1 hour of gymnastics with the instructors and then 1/2 hour for cake and ice cream. So wonderful that I do not need to clean anything up.

Thursday, December 4, 2008

AHHHHHH!!! I can just a exhale now! Nicholas is turning the corner as these doctors say. He is breathing more over the ventillator so they will be weaning him off some more of the pressure and assisst. They have weaned him off some of the sedation meds and is giving him more formula to "eat" through his tube.
I am a bit relaxed now but still worried and will be until we go HOME!!! I don't know when that will be yet but hopefully by next week.

Monday, December 1, 2008

Nicholas was taken off of the paralysis medication today!!! He opened his eyes and was moving around a lot. He is also taking some spontaneous breaths by himself, but he still does not like the tube in his throat. Sometimes his heart rate drops considerably and they have to bag him and give him some breaths to get it back up.

I was able to get home today and spend some time with Sonia. I picked her up from school and played some of her songs of the cd player in the car especially Jingle Bells, she has been asking me for that song since mid October. I told her we cannot play that song until after Thanksgiving and now it is after and she wants it all the time. Oh well, I love Christmas Music anyways!!!

Nicholas update so I can get it out!!!

Yesterday was a trying day for me. Nicholas had a good day and then in the evening his left upper lobe of his lung collapsed and he was very wet in his right side of his lungs. They gave him some medication to help him pee out the fluid and just kept a good eye on him during the night.
This morning when I woke up his lung looks much better and has inflated so that is good news.
They are also going to try to take him off of the paralyzing drug to see how he does with the ventilator.
So over all he has had a good few days.

Sunday, November 30, 2008

Thank you to everyone who is keeping Nicholas in their thoughts and prayers!!!

Saturday, November 29, 2008

More news on the Nicholas front. Rich and I swapped this morning so I could go home and get things done. I get home and about an hour later I get a call from Rich and he says get up here NOW Nicholas has crashed!!! He stopped breathing and they had to intebate him (put a tube down his throat to help him breath) He is not breathing on his own right now and he is now paralyzed induced by the doctors so they can work on his lungs to get the junk out! So needless to say I am a nervous wreck! I will keep you updated!

Hospitals, virus' and family

Well, Nicholas is back at Children's Hospital in Boston. He now has pneumonia that is a complication of RSV. He will be there for at least 7 days. On Friday I called his doctor to make a follow up appt. On my way to the doctor's office I looked in the mirror and saw that Nicholas was not breathing well and was white, ashy color; needless to say I FLEW down Route 128 to dr and got there and they told me to sit! I picked up Nicholas and said I need to be seen NOW!!!!! So they all ran out and got him and put oxygen on him. We were taken to Children's by ambulance. Riding in a back of an ambulance SUCKS because it is sooooo bumpy.

Sonia is trying to handle it ok. Rich is now at the hospital because I still have issues with my c-section and need a nurse to come to do her thing to me so we are switching off.

Thursday, November 27, 2008

Happy Turkey Day Everyone!!!

Well, Nicholas and I just got home from spending the night at Children's Hospital! He has the RSV virus. He was weezing and coughing and having a hard time breathing and eating. He is doing much better though thank goodness. We just need to keep an eye on him!!

I need advice

My almost 4 year old is really starting to act out lately! She is not listening and is VERY sensitive. I am trying to keep my cool and not get too angry because I know it is because of the baby and her rein as only child is over. I just don't know how to channel my anger/energy to try to help Sonia. She has been not listening and being a little more mean to us. At school she is fine it is just happening at home so I am convinced it is because of Nicholas.

Schedules

Trying to get a schedule established is very difficult. Nicholas likes to cluster feed during the day which means he eats a few oounces every few hours durung the day but then at night he wiill go a little longer like 4 hours!

Sonia is accepting Nicholas better than I thought she would. She does give us some hard times like wanting attention and doing "bad" things to get us to "notice" her. She has finally started to sleep in her own bed though. I still need to lie down with her but that is fine. Rich and I finally have our bed back even if it is only until around 4 or 5 in the morning!!!

Good Day

today was a good day! I had my 2 week doctor appointment and everything is healing OK. He had to do some stuff that I will not post here but just know that I need to go back to him on Friday!!
A milestone for Nicholas today, he had kept his eyes open for a lot of the day. He is much more alert and awake. The only thing is, is that he is constipated and is miserable at times!!!!

Thursday, November 6, 2008

home with Nicholas since Monday

Well, I have been home with Nicholas since Monday and it is exhausting!!! At least I have my mom here during the day and she lets me rest. Nicholas is adjusting well. He likes to eat a few oz of formula and then about an hour later he will top off for about 1/2 - 1 oz more. It is annoying but he is doing well.

Monday, November 3, 2008

Pictures of Nicholas at home!!!

Finally, here are some pictures of Nicholas. Sonia was a little shy at first but she quickly came around to wanting to hold him. She was very excited to do it. Daddy and his little girl and little boy. Enjoy the pictures!!!!

home and resting

Finally I am home from the hospital and resting. Halloween was fun. Sonia had a great time!!! She looked soooo adorable. I will post pictures soon.
Nicholas is doing very well. His billie Ruben(sp) was very high so he has been under the photo therapy light and it is much better this morning.
Rich and I will be heading into the hospital today after Sonia goes to gymnastics.
It is just weird being home and not having a baby to take care of yet. All the stuff is up in my room the bassinet and all his stuff and I am not using it. It feels kind of weird, but I know he is in good hands and getting stronger every day. He has also taken to more formula he is up to 2 1/2 ozs now that is very good.
I am having a problem uploading pictures even on my own computer. I will try to get it solved to show you all.

Recovery, home soon

Nicholas is doing so much better now. His heart murmur is closing, he is off all medication except for the antibiotics which he will be off on Sunday and I got to hold him today and feed him his first bottle. It was so wonderful to finally get to hold him and feel him in my arms.
He also had a spinal tap to see if the infection was meningitis and all the preliminary test have come back negative. I am soooooo happy he is feeling soooo much better.

I am trying to up load some pictures of Nicholas but the internet at the hospital is too slow. I will have to wait until tomorrow when I go home.

birth, recovery, NICU

Thank you everyone for your wonderful thoughts, prayers and comments. My little guy was born on Monday at 9:35am. He had a difficult time breathing at first but quickly became stable. I still have not gotten to hold him but that is because I had a c section. He is in the NICU doing pretty good. He needs some medication to keep is blood pressure up and some wires to help get some of the junk out of his lungs, and tummy. He is also on a breathing machine just to help his lungs get a little stronger. Here are a few pictures of Nicholas! We weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 17.5" long, even thought I think he is longer than that.

I am trying to get some pictures up but it is not working right now. I will try again later.

birth of 2nd child

Well, tomorrow is the day. I need to be in the hospital by 6:00 AM yeah me!!!! Sonia is settled in at Nana's house with Nana, Papa, my sister Jen, her husband Nelson and 2 girls Brittney and Alexis. I am sure Sonia will do fine, it is just her first time sleeping over there and away from us. I'm a little sad but I know that I did not want to wake her up at 5:00am to bring her to my mom's house.
I will try to keep you all posted on how everything is going.

Saturday, October 25, 2008

Thank you all for your prayers! We are being optomistic and the Hospital is being great. The Cardiologists have already met and discussed the plan with me. We will be in the NICU for Monday so they can closely monitor him and have his Echo Cardiogram done and if all is well we will go on the regular maternity ward. I will keep you posted as best as I can.

One More Week

Well, one more week and I will meet my new little boy! Can't wait because being this pregnant does not feel very good. I can't sleep at night and one problem is probably because Sonia is sleeping with us because I can't get down on the floor to help her go to sleep in her own bed but OH well you do what you have to do to get through the night I guess.

My C-Section is scheduled for Monday 10/27 at 8:30 am so that means I need to be in the hospital by 6:30am yeah!!!!

Thank goodness for family because Sonia will be sleeping over my parents house maybe the entire week that I am in the hospital; we will see. Rich can only be with me until Wednesday and then he needs to go back to work but that is OK.

baby, hospitals, tests, ultrasounds

Yesterday and today have been STRESSFUL days for m e and Rich. We found out that the baby's heart might have a defect in it yesterday. Today I needed to go to Children's Hospital in Boston to have a Fetal Echo Cardiogram done to see what they saw.
Well they revealed to us that everything seemed to be OK right now. Since I am 38 weeks and term, it was hard to see all aspects of the heart; BUT they did not see what the other ultrasounds techs saw. They thought he might have HypoPlastic Left Heart Sydrome which is a very rare heart disease, so we were thankful for them not finding that.
But, they could not see a very important part of the Aorta so when he is born on the 27th he will need to have an echo cardiogram to see the aorta and if that part of the aorta is defected he will need surgery almost right away. I am soooooo thankful that I live in Boston where there is a level 3 NICU hospital and I am having the baby with a level 2 NICU.
I will let you know what happens if you would like.

1st day of PreK

Yes I know I have not written in a while so I am not sure who will read this but Sonia's first day of PreK was last week. I took 2 pictures of her and she just looked adorable!!! I can't believe that she is in PreKindergarten and I will have a newborn baby in about a month or so. Here are the two pictures.

Monday, August 4, 2008

Well, working with my daughter Sonia in my classroom has not turned out to be such a good idea. She has finally moved over to her permanent classroom thank goodness. I was beginning to get extremely aggrevated at her and I didn't want to do that. She still sometimes cries for me but as we teachers know, you just need to walk away even though it is HARD!!!
She has started to come into our bed at night and I DID NOT WANT IT BUT when you are pregnant and do NOT want to get up and struggle with a 3.5 year old at 3:00 in the morning I say I will deal with it later. I hope that will be true because I do not want her in our bed. She ahs been sleeping in her bed and coming in around 5:00 or 6:00 that is better than 1 0r 2 I guess.

trying something new

Sorry I have not written in a while. I am trying to get the hang of this blog stuff and dealing with being pregnant in the summer and a 3 year old 24 hours a day and 7 days a week right now. Sonia is with me ALL the time this summer. She is in my class for the summer and then she moves to a different room for the fall!!!

Well, Sonia and I have been on vacation this week. On monday we went to the children's museum in Boston and had a ton of fun. She has never been there and we had a BLAST! Rich was able to come because he had that day off.

Then yesterday I decided Sonia has a LOT of hair ties so we took a trip to AC MOORE(Craft Store) and bought a trinket box, paint, and stickers to decorate the box for her hair ties. Here are a few pictures of it. Let me know what you think. Pretty cheap to make; I was thinking about making some and selling them?????

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

I hope everyone is having an awesome father's day. We took a free tour of Fenway park, walked on the outfield and sat in the bleacher seats. We had our picture taken with the 2 world series trophies and Rich got to try on the world series ring!! Here are some pictures.

Fun on Saturday

We had an eventful Day yesterday. Sonia had her Gymnastics final and then we went to the Flag Day parade. It is a big deal in my town for flag day! We had a great day. Here are some pictures and videos!!! Enjoy

Friday, June 6, 2008

Well, I have Gestational Diabetes!! Oh happy Joy Joy!!! I am meeting with the nutritionist today and probably going to get the finger prick thing. We will also talk about my food choices and what I should avoid!!

On a happier note: CONGRATULATIONS TO LORI!! Her beautiful baby boy came into this world on Wed morning!!!

Also, Sonia is talking more and more about her baby boy. I am trying to focus on her more though because she has been EXTREMELY clinging to me lately and it is driving me CRAZY!!!! She does not want daddy only me and sometimes I just want like 5 minutes to myself. Oh well I guess that is not going to happen now for a very LONG time!!!!

Tuesday, June 3, 2008

I would like to wish Good Luck to Lori for tomorrow. She will be having her baby #2. Good Luck Lori!!!

Sunday, June 1, 2008

Well, Sonia is back to normal. She is eating, drinking and running around just fine. On Friday she came with me for my 3 hour glucose test and she was really good. I brought my mom and a bag full of her toys, books, coloring book and crayons. She then came with me for my ultrasound and we found out that she is going to have a baby BROTHER!!! OH my; now I have to deal with a boy and all his stuff, but it will be fun. She is happy that she is having a boy I think. You can never tell until the baby comes!!!!

Wednesday, May 28, 2008

Finally Sonia ate something yesterday! It took her 4 days to eat. She has lost some weight but hopfully she will gain it back!

Monday, May 26, 2008

Well today is Memorial Day and it has been about 4 days since Sonia has really eaten anything solid or drank anything for that matter. She has had some milk and italian ice.
Her teeth have been hurting her because of the sores behind her two front teeth so she has not bring drinking out of her sippy cup because her teeth hurt. Finally this morning she has been drinking a little bit from her sippy. I am trying to tell her NOT to bite down on the straw just suck it up and she has finally got the concept I think!!! Only time will tell.

I hope and pray you all are having a Memorial Day remembering someone who has served our country well.

Have a great day!!!

Friday, May 23, 2008

Well, Finally I figured out what has been ailing Sonia for about a week now!! She has that dreaded hand, foot, mouth thing!! She only has the mouth sores and there is NOTHING they can do. She needs to have soft things and ice things such as italian ices, yogurt etc...
So this will be an exciting long weekend NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday, May 22, 2008

Well, Sonia still has a fever and now has developed fever blisters in her mouth and on her lips. We came home from school today because she was just MISERABLE!!! I have been giving her tylenol and motrin intermittenly. I am not sure what to do about them because they are causing her not to eat. She says they are painful. The one thing she will eat is Italian Ice; so I just went out to the store to get her some!! I am going to take her to the Dr.'s again tomorrow to see what is going on. Most likely they will say, just viral. But I am kind of hoping they find something so we know what it is!!!!

Hope everyone's day went well and hope you all have a GREAT long weekend; for those of you who work!!!! ;).

PS. I did not pass my 1 hour GD test so now I have to go to the 3 hour YEAH!!! OH Well!!

Wednesday, May 21, 2008

Oh mystery fevers are not much fun. Sonia's temp went up to 102.5 and she does not have an ear infection or strep throat so the rapid culture test said. I guess we will see today if the 24 hour test comes back positive. Her temp was 101.2 this morning. But I do need to go to work and since she comes with me If it spikes again, I can just come home with her.

Sunday, May 18, 2008

Last year we went to Sesame Place in PA. Sonia was sooooooooooooooo excited to see Elmo and then when it came time to see him, she freaked out and was clinging to me for this picture with him! She was soooo cute though and we had a great time!!!
I really have nothing else to say. Just thought I would share a few pictures.

Thursday, May 15, 2008

Sorry I have not written in a while. Not much to say but Sonia is doing well. The "school" year is over in June and the summer program starts after that.

Baby news, I have to Drink that gross drink early to detect GD because I did have it with Sonia so I will have that on Monday YEAH!!!!

Sunday, April 27, 2008

The weekend was uneventful for us. We took a ride to a seafood place called the Lobster Claw with Sonia's favorite Uncle, Uncle Eric. The food was OK not great. We then hung out today at Nana's house and with two of her cousins. They all play fairly well together. The only thing is, is that one cousin and 12 and the other one is 9 so sometimes they don't want to play with a 3 year old. They did take her outside and play though so that was nice.

Saturday, April 26, 2008

Happy Weekend Everyone! We are just probably going to stick around the house since gas prices are at 3.50 a gallon! My goodness can you say price gouging!!!
Crazy. If we do anything exciting I will be sure to post again.

Monday, April 21, 2008

Yesterday was such a beautiful day! A little chilly but still beautiful. We took a ride down to Plymouth and went to the Plymouth Rock which is being restored so Sonia could not see it. We then saw the Mayflower II, walked around a little and ate at the Lobster Hut. It was soooo much fun. It was a little chilly by the water but what a great day! Hope your weekend went well also!

And Today I love living in Massachusetts because we celebrate Patriot's Day and we have the day off from work and school!!!

Weather in New England

Well, yesterday we had a BEAUTIFUL day here in Massachusetts. It reached almost 80 degrees. We were outside playing and running around with our friends at their house. Sonia was having a great time with my friends son Derek. They were pushing around trucks and riding on toy cars it was GREAT!! We were all wearing shorts and wearing sunscreen and then 5:00 hit and it started getting COLD!! We left and went to my sisters house for a BBQ and we were all FREEZING because when the weather drastically changes from about 80 to 60 that is pretty cold. But we still had a great time regardless. Sonia got to play with her 6 cousins and swing on the swings. It was a great night. We did not get home until around 8:45 and Sonia was BEAT!! She fell right to sleep.

Tuesday, April 15, 2008

I Hate Sand!!!

As many of you know, I am a preschool teacher at a day care center. On our playground we have SAND!! Yucky, dirty, dusty sand. It gets everywhere; up children's noses, down their pants, in their eyes!! Sonia comes home every night with at least 1/2 cup of sand in each shoe and her socks are FILTHY!! They don't even come clean with Bleach! I try to have her dump out her shoes before she even gets into the car but sometimes that does not happen.
Sorry, I needed to vent that!!

Saturday, April 12, 2008

Not too much to say today except that:

MORNING HUGS ARE THE BEST FROM YOUR CHILDREN!!!

Thursday, April 10, 2008

Potty Training

Sonia is just about done with potty training THANK GOD!! She only wears pullups at night and during naptime at school. It is just so funny that she still wants me to go to the bathroom with her AND help her wipe. She is very funny and when she has an accident; she just puts her hands up and so "awwwwwwwww I peed mommy"

Tuesday, April 8, 2008

Why can't I get my patience back into order yet!! I am hoping that my second trimester will be ALOT better because Sonia is being sooooooooooooooooooooooo needy andI am sooooooooo tired!!!

Sunday, April 6, 2008

Not really about Kids/family: But, Jordan's Furniture is a really COOL place. For those who do not know what it is; it is a furniture store but it has other fun things for everyone. We have 3 of the stores here in Massachusetts and the newest one is GREAT!! We took Sonia there yesterday and she had sooooo much fun. We walked around looking at furniture that we could not afford only dream about, then we ate at Fudruckers (yes inside the store), then we watched this really cool water/liquid firworks show (again, yes inside the store), and there is also a Trapeze school to teach you how to Trapeze, and then there is a really good ice cream store; and IMAX theater; AND a Jelly Belly world (all these things made out of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans!!
Really COOL. Sonia did really well we were very proud of her!!

colds

Colds are not fun at any age; but for young children it can be a nightmare. The other night we gave Sonia some night time cough and cold medicine to help her sleep. Well for the first hour or so, she was coughing and crying for mommy. I went in and comforted her then she tried to go back to sleep. Now, we did put a pillow under her mattress to have it on an angle but it did not seem to help. She started coughing again really hard and then of course you know what happened next; she coughed so hard she made herself throw up! I hate vomit so Rich had to come in a clean it up, thank goodness because I could not stomach it.

Sonia then came in to our bed and watched some TV. She was with us for about 45 mins and no coughing so I said OK time for your bed now and she slept the entire night!
Thank Goodness!!!

Going out to dinner

Going out to dinner with a 3 year old; you would think it would be TERRIBLE!! But Sonia is pretty good at a restaurant. The only complaint that we have is that she wants to sit next to daddy and then next to mommy and then back next to daddy. Musical chairs anyone!!! Then she wants/needs to go to the bathroom. Since she is fully potty trained I usually don't disagree when she has to use the bathroom, BUT when she JUST went not even 10min before it gets really annoying.

Tuesday, March 25, 2008

What clean house?

OK all you working mommies; HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR HOUSE CLEAN with a 3 year old running around and pregnant? I need advice because I leave my house at 8:30 am and return around 5:30ish pm and am DEAD Tired. At least my husband cooks so I do not need to do that but still. Sonia wants attention because she did not really see me all day and she definatly did not see Rich!!
Thanks

Not much to say today but:

Happy Easter to all those who celebrate it!

Patience is a vertue

Well, I am pregnant again. Now with a 3 year old running around. The first time being pregnant was well FUN in a sort of way. Now with a 3 year old running around I find my patience is NOT as good as is used to be. I don't know if it is just hormonal or what ; but poor Sonia and Rich sometimes because they get the brunt of my impatience. I find myself getting more aggrevated at Sonia and saying things that I really don't mean. I do appologize to her but I know that she does not understand why mommy is different I guess.
Please any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

Thursday, March 13, 2008

You know you have made an impact on your children when after you put them to bed and do their routine; you leave the room and you hear them doing the routine all over again before they fall asleep.
Tonight after I sang to Sonia and laid down with her for a few mintues I left the room. My living room is right next to her room so I heard her singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to her Elmo's and babies. It was so wonderful to hear her! I love it!!!!

Monday, March 10, 2008

I was tagged by Lori to do this fun book meme. So, here are the rules: Pick up the closest book. Open the book, turn to page 123, count down to the fifth sentence on that page, and then post the next three sentences.ok first I have to figure out which book closest to me has 123 pages... lol... most of the books near me are children's books and they have NO WHERE near 123 pages! I have a resource book for my class.

The Complete Resource Book An Early Childhood Curriculum.
Squirt-Bottle Painting Hang large sheets of butcher paper on the wall. PUt a drop cloth on the floor underneath. Give the children paint-filled squirt guns and let them create paintings.

Those Toddler Beds

well, since moving to our new apartment we transformed Sonia's crib into the toddler bed. We have been here for a few weeks now and she has taken to the bed very well. Last night around 2:30am; I heard a bang and then Sonia started crying alot! I went in and she was crying and she hit her head on the backboard of her bed you will see in the picture I attached. I comforted her for a few mintues and then put her back to bed. WELL, when she woke up this morning she did not have an egg on her head but a BLACK EYE. She must have hit her head on the metal side rails. So today I am going to babysrus or toysrus and looking for a mesh side rail for her bed!!!

Poor Sonia

Singing

When I am teaching my prekindergarteners they always like to sing songs and I love to sing even though my voice is not good; but children don't care.
I have been singing to Sonia every night before she goes to bed. I choose quiet soft songs so she can relax and fall asleep easier. Now that she is three I sing the songs and she is singing right along with me. It is so fastinating to hear her sing because I still think of her as my little girl! But she is growing up so quickly.

Thursday, March 6, 2008

being a preschool/prekindergarten teacher and a mother of a preschool aged child is extremely challenging. The way that I teach my prekindergarten children is somewhat different as to how I deal with Sonia. Sometimes I know that I should be having her practice her name, use scissors and reading to her more; I just feel that when I look at her she is still little and my little girl. "Oh she will get there" I say to myself. But then I realize that I need to be more dilligent with her. I also feel that when she is playing and exploring the many of thousands of books she has she is doing OK for her age.

good morning

Hi all,

Spring is in the air in New England! Warm temperatures and RAIN!! Rain is a killer when you are a preschool teacher because children cannot go outside. When Sonia has been in all day long and cannot get outside she is miserable unless we do some fun things like painting on her easel, playing with her train set etc...

Rain does put a damper on things; do you all feel the same way?

I'm here

Hi, I just started this blog thing; I hope I can keep it up. I am usually on the computer and online but sometimes I might forget to blog.
Sunday is a day to do laundry and clean up and play with my daughter Sonia!
